Noah Murad

Noah began his career in investment banking and corporate finance in 2008. In 2012, Noah co-founded Bluestar with Roy in order to further expand the family’s equity investment and asset portfolio. Over the past 13 years, under Noah’s leadership, the firm has made over 70 acquisitions and in industries such as real estate, financial services, software, construction, and professional services. The firm has achieved and an average non-levered IRR of over 30% per annum. Exit proceeds of the investments have exceeded $200M and included sales to private equity institutions, going public transactions, sales to strategic buyers, and other complex, special situations. The portfolio of companies have been covered in MaClean’s Magazine, Financial Post and the Globe and Mail, including top growth company and financial innovation recognition.
Noah holds an MBA from Athabasca University and a BA from the University of Western Ontario.
Drew Green

Drew Green is an award-winning Chief Executive Officer, entrepreneur, and expert in starting and managing high-growth companies. A visionary leader, Green has created one of the world’s fastest growing apparel brands. Between 2015-2026, he established over $120M in strategic capital commitments for INDOCHINO from Madrona Venture Partners, Highland Consumer, Dayang Group, Mitsui & Co. (TSE: 8031) and Postmedia Network (TSX: PNC.B) and has secured partnerships with hundreds of celebrities and professional athletes, along with MLB, NHL, NBA and NFL teams.
Previously nominated as top 40 under 40, as well as CEO of the year, Green has been recognized for his accomplishments throughout his career. In 2017 Green was awarded the Lifetime Innovation in Retail award. In 2018 he was awarded Retailer of the Year by Chain Store Age, and in 2019 Green was selected as The Entrepreneur of the Year, by Ernst and Young, and in 2025 Drew received the King Charles Coronation Medal from the federal government for his achievements in business and in the community, and then in 2026 INDOCHINO was recognized and added to Deloitte’s Best Managed Company program. In 2019 Canadian Business announced that between 2015-2019, INDOCHINO was #1 fastest growing Canadian retailer, with sales globally. In 2025 INDOCHINO became part of Best Managed Company Award by Deloitte.
Prior to INDOCHINO, Green founded and was Chief Executive Officer of Canada’s first multi-merchant marketplace, which is now owned by Shopify. (TSE: SHOP) Throughout his career, Drew has held senior leadership roles at companies that have created billions in shareholder value through roles at Flo Network (DoubleClick). DoubleClick (acquired by Google), (NASDAQ: GOOG) and SHOP.COM, (acquired by Market America) amongst others.
Drew served as Chairman of the Canadian Elite Basketball League and became an owner of the Scarborough Shooting Stars and the CEBL in 2024. He serves as a board member at York University, his alma mater. Through THE DREW GREEN AWARD, established by York University and the University of British Columbia, Drew awards annual scholarships at both institutions. Over the past 25 years Drew Green has started 20 companies and invested in over 100 private companies and real-estate assets across Canada and the United States, with almost all still owned and operated. Drew has served as Chairman of five publicly traded companies.
Shubha Dasgupta

Seasoned public company executive, entrepreneur, and board leader with a proven track record of building and scaling growth businesses in regulated financial sectors. Shubha serves as Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of Pineapple Financial Inc., where he led the company’s public market listing, strategic growth initiatives, capital markets activity, and national expansion.
He brings extensive experience across corporate governance, investor relations, M&A, revenue growth, and operational execution, having served on multiple corporate and charitable boards. Known for combining entrepreneurial vision with disciplined leadership, Shubha has earned a reputation for creating shareholder value, building high-performance teams, and leading companies through transformational growth.
As CEO of QuiQX Pay, he is focused on executing a scalable growth strategy, strengthening institutional trust, and positioning the company as a next-generation leader in payments and financial infrastructure.
Junius Cheng

Operations-focused fintech executive with a proven track record of building governance, controls, and execution cadence that turn complex, multi-stakeholder programs in regulated financial sectors into predictable delivery and measurable outcomes.
He brings extensive experience across portfolio leadership, governance and controls, program delivery, and operational risk, having most recently led strategy and business enablement in the payments industry; running a CAD 300M portfolio across 25+ programs in North America securing CAD 60M+ in multi-year wins through a standardised operating model. A Harvard Masters alumnus in Management, Junius is credentialed across strategic management, project delivery, change leadership, and business analysis (PMP®, MCMP™, CCMP®, CBAP®). Known for combining hands-on operating discipline with strategic clarity, he has earned a reputation for translating ambitious growth plans into accountable execution roadmaps, building high-performance delivery teams, and surfacing issues early enough to be solved with facts rather than anecdotes.
As COO of QuiQX Pay, he is focused on operational excellence, regulatory readiness, and building the platform, processes, and people required to position the company as a next-generation leader in payments and financial infrastructure.
Lauren James Weekes

Lauren James Weekes serves as Vice President, PMO & Payment Issuance Operations at QuiQX Pay, where she is responsible for the company’s card issuance and payment strategy. Lauren heads operations and manages the relationships with financial institutions, PSPs (Payment Service Providers), and processors. She also heads the project management team, that is responsible for onboarding clients and the implementation of products such as physical / virtual cards, digital wallets, all with real-time capabilities.
Lauren brings a successful track record spanning more than 12 years within the Fintech / Prepaid industry. Previously, she served as VP, Operations where she set the strategic direction for the project management and customer service teams. She worked closely with IT and Marketing, and spearhead the development of several innovative products, including the client management platform and a comprehensive client reporting and data analytics system. Lauren built a strong reputation of someone who offered logical, yet creative solutions that enhanced relationships with clients, and 3rd party vendors. Lauren also has experience in loyalty marketing and management, with 6 years working with British Airways, in New York, managing their VIP customer loyalty program, Executive Club.
Lauren received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from University of Glamorgan and an MBA with a concentration in Management and Operations from the AIB School of Business.
Wayne Phan

Wayne serves as a Senior Developer at QuiQX Pay, where he plays a key role in designing and building both front-end and back-end platforms that power modern payment solutions. With a strong focus on scalable architecture anduser-centered design, he contributes to the ongoing evolution of QuiQX’s technology ecosystem.
He is also the owner of PhanDango Interactive Media Solutions, through which he has spent over 20 years as an independent IT contractor supporting clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Over the past 15 years, Wayne has served as a lead front-end developer for a Toronto-based firm specializing in loyalty programs and payment technologies, bringing deep expertise in digital experiences and transactional systems.
Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy, with a minor in Chinese, and earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
Nikko Pangilinan

Nikko has over seven years of experience in branding, creative strategy, and growth marketing, and leads brand and marketing at QuiQX Pay. Previously, as Art Director and digital marketer at a Canadian payments company, he led the company’s rebrand across digital and print, guided white-label product design, and collaborated with developers and cross-functional teams to bring digital products and brand systems to life.
He also directed content and video production, developed business materials that supported major contract wins, and partnered with leadership on lead generation, conversion-focused campaigns, market research, product strategy, marketing communications, and public relations.
His background includes formal training in both graphic design and computer programming from George Brown Polytechnic, reinforcing a blend of creative leadership and technical problem-solving
Shadi Darbani

Shadi Darbani is a licensed Barrister and Solicitor with the Law Society of Ontario, bringing extensive expertise in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and commercial litigation to QuiQX Pay. With a career defined by strategic leadership, Shadi previously served as Counsel and Director of Legal and Insolvency, where she oversaw national legal teams and provided high-level advisory on complex contractual and regulatory frameworks.
Her deep background in the financial and professional services sectors ranges from working within the General Counsel’s office of aprominent financial regulator to serving as in-house counsel for fintech firms. Shadi’s experience is instrumental in architecting risk management strategies, safeguarding corporate intellectual property, and ensuring rigorous adherence to the statutory requirements governing modern financial institutions.
